Research stay Johanna Lönngren

From mid-February to mid-March 2019, Johanna Lönngren worked as a SEDwise visiting researcher at Ghent University's Centre for Sustainable Development. Johanna is a postdoc researcher at the Department of Science and Mathematics Education at Umeå University in Sweden. Her research focusses on how to better integrate sustainability into engineering education.

During her stay in Ghent, Johanna has collaborated with SEDwise coordinator Katrien Van Poeck on a review of literature about 'wicked (sustainability)problems'. She also worked with teachers at the faculty of Architecture and Engineering, sharing her research-based expertise on sustainability in engineering education for example through a workshop on how to address wicked sustainability problems in engineering education.
