Future Proef Award - 12 december 2023 - Gentse Stadhuis

Dinsdag 12 december 2023 kende een winteravond om warm van te worden. In de Pacificatiezaal van het Gentse Stadhuis legden de genomineerden voor de Future Proef Award uit hoe hun thesis ons op weg zet richting een eerlijkere en duurzamere wereld. Drie van die genomineerden werden door de jury uitgekozen om UGent te vertegenwoordigen op de Vlaamse Future Proef Awards: Fien Vansevenant, Maria Cordero-Fernandez (eveneens winnaar van de Publieksprijs) en het duo Karen Steukers & Lune Boret. Dank aan alle genomineerden, de jury, het publiek en de Stad Gent.

A winter evening that made us feel warm. At the City Hall of Ghent, the nominees for the Future Proef Award explained how their thesis helps us on the path toward a fairer and more sustainable world. Three of those nominees were chosen by the jury to represent Ghent University at the Flemish Future Proef Awards: Fien Vansevenant, Maria Cordero-Fernandez (also winner of the Audience Award) and the duo Karen Steukers & Lune Boret.
